Harbour Health Medical Clinic was established in 2009 as an expansion of a practice established by Dr Madeleine McCarthy in 1988. The practice is located in  1 & 2 Lower Glenageary Road. .

We aim to provide a 21st century comprehensive GP service to our practice population in which we welcome all families, lifestyles and cultures. We also provide an Occupational Health Service to the local business community.

Dr. Madeleine McCarthy

Specialist GP

Madeleine is a specialist GP and an occupational health physician, She qualified as a doctor from University College Cork medical school in 1984 having previously been awarded a BSc. She subsequently completed her hospital experience in various teaching hospitals in Cork and Dublin completing her GP training in the Trinity College GP Training Scheme. She became a member of the Irish College of GPs and the Royal College of GPs in 1988. 

Since then she has completed further training in Occupational Health. Other recent courses have included Menopause,  Diabetes and Sexually Transmitted Infections. She has worked in Continuing Medical Education as a tutor to other GPs and has been a GP trainer for many years. She has also become a family planning tutor. Her areas of special interest include Menopause, Family Planning, Sexual Health, Occupational Health, Travel Health and Diabetes.

Dr. kamila torris

Specialist GP

Kamila originally from Poland is a specialist GP, having graduated from the Jagiellonian University School of Medicine in Cracow in 2010.  Prior to that Kamila was also awarded with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Analysis.  She moved to Ireland in 2012 working in various Irish hospitals.  She  completed her specialist GP training in the North Eastern Regional Specialist Training Scheme working in a number of hospitals and general practices throughout that training. 

Kamila’s special interests include: Women’s Health, Children’s Health, Allergology and Dermatology. She holds Certificates in Contraception, Menopause and Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC).
